So i got my LSP
As you can see from my other thread about Browns hobby, i took a road trip to Ohio. This is what i went there for.
As of right now, i have the front/center/rear diffs filled. The more important areas that had pt threaded screws were replaced by high grade machine thread screws. I have loc-tite'd what needed to be done as well. Set the camber, and toe. Added a spektrum RX, HPI 1200 Nimh pack, and set all my gear up. Im 3 tanks into break-in. So far the stock engine seems strong, and the stock servos seem to work fine. The servos will be replaced by some high end JR servos from my savage SS. So far, i really like it. I hope it does really well at the race this coming Saturday.

RE: So i got my LSP
Tamiyakid, i have been spending a pretty sick amount of money on RC lately. I really need to chill out for a while.
Binary, if this motor had any kind of RPM's, i would be running some very fast laps. I thought it was impressive when i first started breaking it in. As break-in went by, i changed diff fluids and setup during the cool down times. This truck just handles soo nice. The cornering ability is amazing. Sadly though, as easy as the stock engine is to start, and tune, its just not fast. Switching to a colder plug brought the temps down alot, and allowed for more tuning. Still, it feels very slow up top. I cant imagine it being competitive at WOOR with it being such a large track. I expect my Revo to be more competitive there. Its dialed, and FAAAAAAAAAAST!

RE: So i got my LSP
Thermal.....you should have taken that engine out and sold it on ebay before you even started it, that engine has pretty good low end and no top end what so ever. I made the mistake of breaking the engine in my LSP and running it when it when i should have sold it immediately. I bought a sirio 27 pro to put in it and it is amazingly fast and very quick. I brought the clutch bell up one tooth size and the engine didnt know the difference...im thinking of going up one more and see what happens. If you have ever seen a sirio 27 perform you will know exactly what i am talking about, i seriously recomend this engine especially for something the size of an LSP. I would say it compares to the collari 30. I got my sirio on ebay for $210....so if you look around you will be able to get one for about the same price

Thermal, I will still give you $50.00 for your motor if you include flywheel and clutch. I think the stock .26 seems a little faster in the LSR with the lighter plastic A-arms.

Thermal, what do you think of those RD Logics tires? I bought a set of the Porcupines and found the foams way to weak. However, they will sell them to you unmounted and you can use whatever foams you want. I found the tires to be excellent quality themselves.

CR500, thanks for the recommendation. I'll look into that Sirio .27. Right now, there is a Novarossi engine im more interested in though.
Badboy, it comes with the wing mount, but not the wing.
Ramirez, if i sold it, i wouldnt be selling it with the flywheel.
And Jake answered the other question. They are indeed HPI dirt bonz, and HPI 6 spoke wheels.

Put some engine in it, cuz I gotta beat it with my Revo! Then my Revo can be called the Winged Revo that eats LSP's! LOL

TNX, that tire is a copy of the bow tie. If you look real close at the HPI Dirt Bonz, you'll see the tread is a little lower, and the knobs are thinner. The material is also thinner than a bow tie, and lighter. The tread is also bone shaped.
Tamiya kid, my LSP is sitting on my bench right now with the XTM pro installed in it. Hopefully it will be fast enough for Saturdays race. I may put a pipe on it, and a cooling head. I am really hoping it moves this truck real nice. Since it has been in my savage, it hasnt had much use at all. I'll test it tomorrow.

Yeah this year at MGR sounds like Truggies are getting more popular, might be a reason to seperate classes...
I'll run this year with Truggies, but next year it should be split for sure. Who knows enough noise and West Olive and Jesse might split since no truggy did well at the MGR Race at DB's. Next year I hope to have a Truggy to add to my collection...not sure which one though.
