The best light weight performer I'm aware of right now is the OS 18 TZ-TX. The TX version comes with a pull-start (meaning you no longer need the larger flywheel and starter box to run an OS 18TZ). You will still need a new header (just as with most of your other choices).

I put in a .21 novirossi top and it is sick fast, almost to much to control.
there is a nice big block kit made by Traxxas that has every thing you will need to get a .21-.28 in there. some motor come with all that you need, like the sirio for the revo.
if you run a .21 you will need to look at a custom job with the pipe, as you need a much bigger one to make it run right. so if you don't want to go that far, as to mod your ride to take a side pipe I would not go bigger than the .18OS

yes, there are some nice rear pipes you can get, but they just are not big enough for the .21 and up.

here are some older pics with the stock pipe still in use.
