kyosho mega force
hi there guys. tryin to fix a kyosho mega force monster truck and having a few problems. it is starting up ok for a second but then it pulls on the pull start string and cuts out. it does it in two ways. if it starts up well the string will totally retact as far as the rubber tubing but it will then cut out and pull the string in ripping it through a bit of the ruber tube. the other instance is when you have the pull start string pulled out it will start for a second and then cut out as you feel a little tug on the string. any help appreciated as i am tryin to get it runnin sweet

sounds like your one way bearing could be hanging up. pull it out and clean it really well, then lube it with one way lube (avalible at you lhs) and see if that helps. you may end up having to replace it, but if you can fix it you will save a little cash. plus then you have the satisfaction of knowing that you fixed it.
