Default Noreagas LST body (racer scheme)

Well, im gonna let the pics do most the talkin here. I received some lids from Noreaga to give him a racers scheme. He wanted to get noticed on the track. After 4 coats of liquid mask, i set in to some art work. Check it out.

Some art work, and notes(colors etc.).

The color begins!

Some CF fades in the bed.

Moving on to the silver border.

And the final product. Noreaga, i hope ya like it!

As you can tell, i still have plenty to learn. I have to start practicing window borders, and doing headlights. Those are two areas that need to be done super clean, to look sharp. I wont put them on a body until im confident in those areas. I'll trim and liquid mask the CP body for your revo today, and it'll be ready for paint tomorrow.

Thanks man. This is for Noreaga, a racer in Hawaii. I have to do this same paint job on his revo crowd pleazer. So yes, i paint for other people. I have a few more to finish up, then i really need to paint some for my own race trucks.

I've seen a lot of bodies on several forums, but that is one of the cleanet I've seen to date. Very sharp, and very well done! [8D]

Freaking sick like usual.

For this picture, is it possible to actually have it painted like that? Part of it painted and part of it clear?

Traumahead, yes! It is possible to do it like that with parts clear. I've seen quite a few guys now doing bodies with clear beds, or some light shading on them.

Glad you like the layout. How do you want the wing for the CP body? Clear, Carbon fiber, paint? I really like the look of the clear wings with the stickers on them. But its up to you.

Excellent work Thermal! Orders are coming in straight away - speaks for itself.

Regards to the pics in the first few posts - are outlines of shells available for download anywhere so I can try some designs on paper?

Im better with a pencil than I am with Photoshop... or do I just take a pic, print it and draw round it?

Its a T3 crowd pleazer shell outline that I am looking for btw, if they are available that is.

That outline for the F650 is something i found from another site. I wanna say it was on Radio control zone, in a post fromt he Paint forum. I thought i had bookmarked it, but apparently not. I'll keep looking for it. For most of my bodies i really dont use the exact truck template to draw my artwork on. For the most part it still gives me a really good idea of how complete, and full the design is. One of the things i had found a while back was that some of the PDF manuals for these vehicles have decent pics like that in em. I know the SUT manual online had a great wireframe image. Thats what i used for the longest time. T3 is the stadium truck right? I have a crowd pleazer outline for a 1/18th stadium i believe. Are those bodies similar? I could send it to ya. I'll keep my eyes peeled for that page i got this F650 from.

I would put a pic of mine up, but it wont let me upload - again.... doin my head in. I have pics of it in my gallery tho. I was thinking just of some stickers to liven it up really, its just a bash it and smash it shell - perhaps a Benson and Hedges (BE ON Edge) Formula 1 kinda theme? Would be different...

Anyway, if its pretty similar, then please do send me the outline, it would be much appreciated.

edit: sorted the pic, keeps messin me about, is it my pc/connection or is anyone else having probs?
