I just got a new Tamiya Terra Crusher. Has an .18 in it and is 4WD. I used to have a Blackfoot which was electric and thought it was nice. This is my first Nitro truck. Gotta tell ya ... this thing screams! I mostly fly planes and a couple helis but I really think I'm going to enjoy this truck. Anybody else got one??

Ya, I have one.............. FIRST THING!!! Make sure you adjust the trans correctly! Make sure you break it in as per the manual! If you do not, you will be replacing it after 2 tanks of fuel, just like I did. Check out this web site. It is VERY helpfull! Hope you enjoy the truck! I love mine.

Thanks guys. I ran my second tank today and it's great. Break in was near what the manual says. Must have been OK because she's screaming today. Everything is working like it should. I'm still running a bit rich. I had to adjust the low end out of the box as it was way too rich. Top end was way rich too. I have it idling where it will sit still and not jerk. It's a nice low idle, but not to low. I've been around airplane engines for years but this one is a little different because of the transmission. I'm looking foreword to some big time fun with this. I'll be getting my first grandson in January and I know when he's old enough he'll like it too.

Hi Wizen
I also have one a so has my friend.Just want to ask you which engine is for TC better, the OFNA Hyper 21 or 25.
Some guys say the 25 is a real problem case and now I can't decide which one.I'm also thinkink about XTM 247.
If you could help me with this dilema.
Thanx MAX4
