I like the wheels, It all looks really great together. Why the small wheel wells on the body? And do you have the body posts set high? The savage body I bought for mine, sits down level with the frame and the wheel wells are very monster truck. I hope to have some pics up tonight.

The body is set high because I haven't cut the mounting holes in it yet, it just came in.

Thinking about widening out the wheel wells but i'm afraid I will screw it up!!!

Put some tape over the wheel wells and trace out how big you want the wheel wells to be, then use lexan scissors or an xacto knive to cut it out. I have found that scoring the lexan versus cutting all the way through it works best. Once you score the lexan about half way through, you can make a knick all the way through and just tear along your score mark. I did this to the body that I just finished because my knife wouldn't cut through the lexan once it got beyond a certain thichness. If you want to see what well matched wheel wells look like, find a proline body for a T-Maxx, I put one on my truck and it looks sweet. Like I said before, I hope to have pics up tonight.

Finally, my CEN ATX is now a MT. I would like to thank Auto2 for his help on obtaining parts in the US for me.

Any way, It now has HPI Ford F350 body, CEN Chrome Wheels, Proline Masher2000 tires & GWS S19CL high torque servo. Unlike most of you, I am still using the stock radio. Ok, the next thing to be upgraded would be the radio.

Please, any more photos of the CEN MT2. I have yet run the MT2 after putting all the new parts on.

Taa Daa, I finally got my camera and my truck in the same place with enough spare time to take some pics. This was my first body so don't ridicule it to much. And the scratches on the frame, shocks, and head are from the guy who had it before me. Note to self... body is gooooood for the truck.

hey nice shocks! How do they work/compare to the stock ones?

Yes I like my MT2 but I don't like the large turning radius.

Soon there will be all sorts of hop ups for them and how can you go wrong for the price. I paid 260 for mine.

Element- Mt2s are great trucks, good bashers and ecelent racers out of the box. Mine handles the jumps great but I would recommend heavier oil and stiffer springs.

The best thing about these trucks is they dont need upgrades.

PK, on the topic of heavier oil for the shocks. What comes stock and what should we upgrade to. The front end of my truck taps the ground if I drop it from about three feet. I am assuming that the front shocks need a little heavier oil to make the shocks a little stiffer. I already have the integy shocks (thanks Auto2 for the compliment) and springs, but if I crank the coilovers to the hardest setting, the front end is so high that the steering linkage is off.

Element: Thanks for the comp on the body. I love the way it looks. As far as how good a truck the Cen is. I am impressed at how easy it is to work on. I bought mine used and have had to undo all of the half-assing that was done to it. But, in the next week I hope to have it completely tuned and running the way it was meant to run. You should seriously look at the MT2 for a truck to bash around with. You can buy the truck, blow up the first engine, roll it and break all the shock ends, plus a few diff cups and still come out spending less than you would if you bought a major brand truck plus the hop-ups to bring it up to the cens level. The bonus in this senario, You already had a ton of fun with the Cen, and you still have some money left over.

The drop test is not a very good way to judge your suspension. If you made your suspension stiff enough to never bottom out you will kill any handling you had. Stiff suspensions are for on road cars and trucks that dont have to deal with bumps. You want the suspension to be fast enough and soft enough to absorb all of the bumps you encounter while off roadin'. Since the MT2 is basically a 4WD stadium truck with big tires it is very light. So you wont need to go real heavey on the shock oil and springs, you will want it a bit heavier than an ST to control the larger tires but not to much.

You will not regret getting a MT2. I have had mine up against "the blazing fast" 2.5 TMAXX with no problems. It is also a very durable truck. The only drawback to it is the radio equipment. I would invest in a nice radio for it, which you would be able to do no problem because of its price. It is smaller than the tmaxx and savage....it is a true 1/10 scale.

Great speed
Great durability
Easy to break-in / tune
Order replacement parts / hop-ups from ehobbies and you will have them in 3 days.
Needs a better radio

If nobody around you has one...they will be very suprised when you take it bashing/racing. I am the only one around here with one and it has drawn alot of attention.

I have heard good reviews on the MT2. The local club mostly runs T-maxx and Savage. I still have a little more time to deside but thanks for the advise.

Maxd, read what I wrote about the difference between the Cen and the others. I am in that spot right now. I bought my truck used, and you do buy other peoples problems when you do that. But, my truck had the few extra hop-ups that I would have done I couldn't pass it up. Even with having to buy all the replacement stuff, nitro started kit, new body and all the supplies. I have only spent about 400 bucks. And that still isn't close to the cost of a Savage or a T-maxx with a 2.5cc engine. I am not sure what overall performance is right now, cause I am still correcting a lot of problems. But, on the plus side for this trucks durability, even with its problems it still runs great and drives well.
