Hi my problem is that i put on 23mm 40 series wheels onto my genesis but it seems to have lost all its top end speed, it can only reach about 20mph now is because of the wheels or that its not going into 3rd gear?

With the smaller tire your top speed will drop and your truck will shift gears much sooner because the RPM's go up faster. I tried smaller diameter street tires on my CEN MT2 and did not like it. It also caused my motor to overheat because it was running at higher RPM's than it normally would

The CEN is certainly not known for its top end speed in the first place. I was going to put the CEN motors on my Giga Crusher but I found out through research that the motors would kill my top end. I would suggest either change the motors at great expence, or put the original tyres and wheels back on.

The wheels are too small - they effect your gear ratio. If it is not shifting into third gear it is because the truck is not going fast enough.

oh yeah.... What made you put those wheels on?

the gears shift through transmission RPM, the vehicles speed has nothing to do with when it changes gears.

That just looks funny. The wheels are much cheaper on ebay then from cen or any hooby shop. Just so you know.

What are you playing at putting those tiny wheels on the cen? the cen has some of the biggest wheels going, those are smaller then the stock lst wheels! of course it has killed your top end. The highest speed gear is now probably barely the same ratio as the lowest gear on the original wheels, just put the stock ones back, on can't see what is so hard to figure out?
