Default Mammy ST

I have just gotten a new Mammoth ST as my first truck and it runs great! I was out the other day and I wiped out with the consequences of a bent chassis, bent rear driveshaft, and a bent rear brace. I am going to receive a new chassis, but I need chassis braces. I saw braces on Dadders, but are there anymore for a XTM Mammoth ST that are cheaper? Thanks!

Dadders are the only braces I Know of, other than home made. The dadders brace is excellent and are worth the money 60.00 dollars is not to bad.

Thanks Atom I think I'll go with Dadders then, but do they slow or weigh down the car at all?

No, they dont slow down the car, Just take your time when installing you will be removing the existing braces and drilling new holes for the braces. It is kinda a pain, but chassis flex is no more after installed.

Hey Atom, what other aluminum upgrades should I get to protect the car because I thought of making a Mammoth ST roll cage and I've looked at BigAirProducts for shock arms. What else should I get to prevent anything severe happening in an unfortunate wipe out? THanks!

The chassis braces is the only alum I've added my upgrades are center Diff and fluids in front and rear Diffs (7f-30c-5r) and added the alum steering servo saver with ball bearings and helped a lot with slop of steering. As far as roll cage if you are a basher than I suppose it would be good but cant say Ive never owned a roll cage and you had mentioned wieght in earlier comments and I,m sure that a cage will add plenty

Another thing, how much weight affects a Nitro RC car anyway? I dont want to lose speed but I dont want to have the risk of something being unprotected that if i had a roll cage it could've. How much weight does it take to lose speed on a car? (Mammoth ST)
