Default 24.7 pro or sh-28 ?

Whats a better engine , I might upgrade my MGT with a new engine with the money i got when i sold my savage , maybe get some powerstroke shocks too . what would be the best bang for the buck ? i want something that is easy to tune and runs strong . i can get the sh-28 for 109 $ shipped

thanks .

Both really good motors. the XTMs been around forever and proven worthy....the sh28 is newer, had some initial problems that are worked out and now also noted to be a great motor -I think you go sh over the xtm unless you go pro.....now you have a tough decesion. Last and awesome option in that price range is the sts 28. Heard reallllly good things about STS.

If it was going in the MGT I would want the SH.28. It is supposed to have more low-end and thats what you want in a monster. Are you going to race the MGT or just bash??? Maybe the 24.7 Pro would have a smoother powerband for the track, But I have been told the SH.28 is all about the lowend. Like elite said, both good motors. IMO.
