Why would take off the aluminum parts and put plastic back on ? Does it slow down the warhead ? If you get rid of any let me know I might buy.

I'm either getting the axial .28 or .32 this weekend and would I still need the shim kit if I bought the .28? Also I'm not sure what to do with the shim kit once I get the engine. Where do I have to shim?

LOL..thanks! I think I'm going to go with that. Some good deals on it around $155. I just need to make sure if I pick that up what else I am going to need with it to get it done. Gonna miss the kwik start though.

RE: Anyone own a Warhead?
you will need to shim the clutch bell to make it fit with the spur gear. you put the shim behind the cone and in front of the bearing. it will make sence when you have all the parts in front of you.

hey messno3, put savage 3 speed tranny there[sm=thumbup.gif],,,not sure if do-able and how hard if possible,,maybe if i get crazy i'l do it in mine.
btw, guess what, i was out running the wh with super pooper on it and man![sm=thumbup.gif] super pooper didn't put me down, though it's kinda hard during starting coz my starter box battery dies before i could start it, good that i have kwik pit starter installed but i'm using hand drill for starter not enough rpm but somehow i made it start.....engine temp stays somewhere 180-240, very consistent...ran 5-6 full tank,,,hoping tomorrow will be same...i don't trust this engine still[:-].

RE: Anyone own a Warhead?
check out my pic at my info page. did two warheads with the savage trans. i did one with the engine mounted in the front of the truck and the other in the back. the savage and wahread trans turn in different directions. depending on where you mount the engine you might have to flip the warhead diffs. it's a real nice conversion with O problems once all the work is done.

What is a good exhaust 4 my os.30 wh?
What is a good exhaust 4 my os.30 wh?
with os .30 i'm leaning towards vantage carbon fiber tuned pipe, it was featured in Car Action Magazine about the matching of os.30 with vantage tuned pipe and has a very good report.
other tuned pipe i'm leaning is the TSAIS C5H rear twin exhaust tune pipe, eversince i like the rear exhaust more realistic to me and less mess, though with this pipe i can see it needs header mods but do-able..
just my speculation the vantage tuned pipe is more both of performance and looks and the TSIAS is more on looks and functionality with performance...well, i'm getting this pipes to stop my day dreaming
rcbeep73, that's crazy i never thought somebody did that conversion, if u don't mind tell us more about it kinda interesting to me..
ok guys this is my 2nd day bashing wh with super pooper and to my surprise it's getting strong, i'm not having those engine problem so far[8D].

RE: Anyone own a Warhead?
Thanks for the response you really dont think the supertigre will go better with a good pipe. And if I buy a new motor I wouldnt want to use the stock pipe anyways right ?is the ofna .32 a good motor its 30 bones cheaper then the axial ? Thanks
