Built my ramp
Well after spending a few hours over at the BMX track with my new Revo I knew I needed a ramp in the yard till I could build my own track. This cost about $45, was fairly easy to build and seems to be sturdy. I am by no means good with wood so if I can do it anyone can. It took 24' of 2x2, a 4x8 sheet of OSB and a 4x8 sheet of 1/4" plywood.
It is about 40" high, 65" long and is 48" wide. Seems to launch the truck pretty well. Not sure if there is enough kick to get a back flip or not. I will have to build up some nerve or get some liguid courage. I jumped the truck a few times in the dark this evening after I finshed building it. With fairly slow speeds the truck gets about 8 feet of lift and flys about 15 to 20 feet.
Looking forward to daylight.
