Help me please......
Hey guys I have a new smatech tornado 4x4 and i broke the engine in no problems. All of a sudden i press the gas and the engine revs but the racer does not move. I have checked the drive train and there are no problems. This is a 2 gear transmission. Just to be clear the engine revs and it looks like the gears look like they turn but nothing happens? I am sure that someone has come across this before any suggestions would be nice.
Thanks guys.
Also I think that the greas maybe going the wrong way the I press the gas.

i havn't had any experiance wit the truck but i would say that if the gears are in good shape, take a good look at the slipper clutch. it could be that the adjusting nut backed off and you didn't notice it. if the slipper is ok you may have a stripped gear inside the trannyor a sheered pin or something. just start at the engine and work your way throug everything untill you find the prob.

Does your truck look anything like this? I have the attached, its 1/8 scale also sold under the name tornado, but not smartech name, I bought it last fall while in China and have not seen anything else like it yet. I did find this web site in the UK that sells the truck and parts
link is www.supermonkey.co.uk
Another site I use while in Asia is realstar21.com there is some information there also.
It sounds like a clutch problem or something is loose on the drive train. You really need to go over everything when working with those off-brand products, something is usually loose out of the box,
