YOU SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH THE NEMESIS I TELL theres nothing like it. tmaxx with all the mods in the world just doesnt compare and i speek from experience. i had a big block maxx full rpm and dynamite conversion a light weight racer max with racers edge cut out chassie big bores shocks all hardcore racing option and robinson racing options then went supermaxx diffs with jt racing chassie ga bulks dace engineering single shock arms and wing mount towers. all a waist of money and the nemesis truck out shines them all straightt out of the box. then i decided one day i would like to build another light weight racer truck so i was going to do a dace predator this time but i came to my senses and bought a revo durable and great handling out of the box without spending hundreds of dollars building a rock solid truck that cant even hang with todays line of new trucks

quote:" The GENESIS 46 devours all truggies / MT in its path at the 2005 R/C Monster Madness Race in Enfield CT."

just thought that y'all should see this.its on the cen site so it must be true. if i had known i would have gone to watch.
i'm still waiting to get my limited 46, it should be here friday so i'll see if all that works that i mentiond above.if it does there are a range of tires we all can use example,17mm,23mm,14mm,19mm. the numbers will be endless.i just hope that the the rims will be wide enough to fit the savage or the hellfire rims.

I just can't picture my gen le with small t-maxx size tires..... maybe jumbo kongs or something but I don't think there is anything else on the market that would look right, except the nemesis wheels and tires...

Hey what are you guys using for rod-ends? The cen ones break alot, they are cheap to buy but I am sick of breaking them.... I am talking about the ones on the steering linkage.... What company makes the strongest ones?

Also for you guys that have aluminum upper arms, what breaks now? What is the next weak link that breaks?

its not to use the t-max rims or others but the fact that the axles are hollow and tend to snap has me worried. so since the savage axles are the same diameter as the gen 46 and the only change would be the inside bearing (10-19-7)to a bearing (8-19-5) now we can use the axles from a savage that are solid. and i know they wont break or bend.

well if the savage axles fit then all that needs to be changed it the bearing#g73915(10x19x7) to boca bearing #8x19x6,and the savage axles should fit.

so far this is the only flaw ive found with the truck will you still be able to use the 23mm or do you have to buy the proline 23mm because there inside diameters maybe different

well if it can be done, then whatever the savage conversion for the prolines are those would be the hex size to use.

dont worry i will post here if it works the bearings are 20.00 or so and the savage axles are 12.00 a pair the only prob i see are going to be the dogbones. this is the only part that i'm not sure about.so untill i get the le i just dont know.but just in case, cross you fingers and your toes .

It would be great if the Savage axles fit. I assume the 23 wheel hexes and the axles have an internal / external hex shape so it doesn't need the cross pin, right? CEN never did comment in my axle posting in the CEN forum:

[link]http://www.bocabearings.com/main1.aspx?p=product&id=3172&n=MR698-2GS[/link]
this is the bearing that will replace g73915 (10x19x7)
all the other parts are at tower.if the megatravel will work then that is all thats needed for this mod.like i said before, i dont have the truck yet and the savage axles and dogbones are out so i can measure them and see if they fit.the savage bones to axle lenth are 163mm so as long theit in the ballpark they should work. the only concern now are the drivecups being too big.
