Many people use the pipe from the XTM Mammoth truck for better performance - i believe you can use the stock header and still run the rear exhaust set-up.

If you buy an aftermarket header and use the side exhaust option you can use almost any pipe on the market.

If I did switch to the side exhaust any pipes that will make a strong improvement?

Realistically i think ANY pipe will show a decent improvement over the stock muffler (it's not even a tuned pipe!).

Are you running the stock .21 engine (as i am) or the .28 from the MGT 4.6?

I believe you can buy pipes specific to engine displacement, so try to find a decent pipe from a well known manufacturer that would be suitable for a .28 engine.

Either that or ask people running similar displacment engines what pipes they are running and base your decision on that.

Try asking here:- http://monster****rum.com/
