Default can someone define "truggy"?

cause Im quite puzzled, this is a better question for the truggy forum perhaps... but Im more curious what makes a truggy different from a MT. and not just that they race in different classes.

I went to the truggy forum and saw lots of hellfire threads, yet I cant find any glaring differences between a hellfire and an LST... what is the key?

A truggy is a cross between a buggy and a truck,

I think it is the upshot of truck owners lowering their trucks and buggy owners wanting to fit hugh wheels and big suspension

Sorry for my poor explaination. I'm sure some one will add a techincal explanation for you.

main diff is probably ride height. Monster trucks have a greater ground claerance than truggys do.

A truggy is an 1/8th scale truck based on a buggy platform (flat bottom chassis) and has a center differential (like a buggy) instead of a transmission. Also, all components are mounted on top of the chassis.

so... are they kinda like a nitro powered 1/8th scale stadium truck? or still more buggy-ish.

Yup. It's a stadium truck alright. a 4wd stadium truck. center diff, wide stance, low ride height, all characteristics of a truggy.
