hey, my friends recently got a second hand revo. he's had a problame with it and he's discribed it over the phone to me as i haven had time to see it as of yet. anayway he says that when he starts it up and then applies throttle the car dosent move it only vibrates and then slitly jolts. i think it is either the clutch or he's just stripped a gear.

Does the car shut off when he applies throttle, or does it stay on? If it shuts off, it might be too lean, and tell him to richen it up a bit. If it stays on, I have no idea what the problem is.

or there could be a stripped gear or lost slipper pad. either way its a cheap fix...
