Default REVO 3.3. Newbie Q?.........

Well I am not so new to the nitro world (Ofna buggy .26) but, I am new to the monster trucks.

I am considering the Revo 3.3 and I have done my research, having said that, I like what I have seen so far with the Revo. Ground clearance, wheel travel etc.....

Can someone tell me why it was the truck of the year in 04' and in 05' team Losi was the winner? I have looked at the Losi but I can't see what makes it a "better" truck.

Like I said, I had a Ofna 1/8th scale buggy. But I was constantly bending the half shafts and breaking other things on it. Can I look forward to a more stout truck with the Revo?

Thanks,
The cheese.

i have both...only thing i can tell you is they are both very good....go to your lhs and look at both in person and go with whatever you feel....it really comes down to personal preference....you cannot go wrong with either of them

Revo is sweet but the engine has given many guys fits in tuning. The truck is nice though, I own it i like, I don't like the 2.5r motor. if your a good tuner go for it

Thanks. I am not a good "tuner" but I am sure I can learn. It sounds to me like the Revo out performs every truck out there.

He's looking at the 3.3 Revo, not the 2.5. It's going to be a real intresting truck. Longer chassis, bigger motor, center diff. I'm looking forward to seeing if it lives up to it's hype.
