In your opinion, what's the biggest motor the Revo can handle stock with no modifications to the drivetrain, trans, etc...?

It depends. I am going to be running a Sure Fire .32 in my Revo with few mods to the drivetrain. I have a FOC, dual brakes, and 10k oil in both diffs. The tranny should hold up very well. "Dont replace it if it aint broken"

well by mods i would assume you dont want to change the motor mount? if thats the case your choices are os 18 tm/tz(tad bit of work) 2.5r, 3,3.
really if ya think about it, they call the 26 maxx and the rb 323 drop in motors, BUT they need a different mount to work? thats not really drop in..... if it is, that means if qoncepts sold motors and mounts then it would be a drop in!!! well i guess you still would have to start it... but i hate owbs, their kinda newb if ya know what i mean!! a starter on a nitro motor is like having power windows in a real race car..... extra weight!! of course thats just my opinion.

The biggest motor you can get that drops in with everything needed is the RB TM323. It is a .23. If you consider the picco .26 max then that is the biggest. But it needs a seperate mount that doesn't come with it.

you should go with the picco .26, I always ran the picco, there great engines , I have 1 on my revo and its fast with 16/38 gearing and I smoked my brothers hyper 7 with a collari .30 in it.

RB just came out with the TM523. It's a little more expensive, but has a very different power band (probably due to it's 9 ports).... something to think about.
