Default Looking for a 1/8 truck...

I'm looking for a 1/8 truck to compliment my revo which is just a bit tiny. A friend was recommending an lst2 of course, but a little cheaper would be a lst or mgt. Pros/cons of these? Which would you take, or other alternatives? I'd probably find one on ebay or something that I could pick my own motor for.

nemesis too. if size is your perogative.

from what Ive read, the LST2 is worth its premium and much much more. for reference, the upgrade kit is 140$. soooo unless your getting the LST real cheap. almost everything they upgraded is things you'll want to have. some much more than others, but generally speaking, there are no "wasted" parts in the upgrade kit, so the lst2 is probably a good choice. only down side, the LST2 specific parts are a little spare on aftermarket support. but there are worse things in the world.

i have a TNX, which i highly recommend, but if you're looking for bigger I would go MGT 4.6. good all around trucks that are definitely priced right. are you racing, bashing, or both?

Well we kinda bash in a track pattern. But I found a deal on ebay on a mgt minus motor, so it looks like I've found my truck. Time for more research.

ive had my mgt for several weeks and ive actually found the stock engine to be very good. but at just a little more price you can get the lrp .28, which is just insane. ill post links to both of them.

I have a Revo, and I was feeling the size issue like you were, so I went with the nemesis. Cheaper than the LST2, bigger, and more power. While the Revo is the better handler of the two, I have to say the Nemesis does a very good job getting around the track.

i say mgt also...its the best value in 1/8 scale trucks..its big and it handles very good..it comes with a very strong engine that is great for bashing and it seems very durable..it's always over looked compared with the lst and savage..
