SS 4.6. you mean right? Gear it as high as u can, is this off-road or on-road race. dont gear it high if this is off-road. Or just slap a big .32 and murder him.

a collari .32 and a 3-speed with 20/47 gearing will eat that poor little max. try for some 40 series tires (with 23mm hubs) to get some more speed with the larger diameter tires. but thats quite a bit of money

no. i want a nice clean race, because when i raced him with my buggy the truck ran over a pot hole, but he was only going about 10mph, and it didn't mess him up that much. And i want to race him on-road

Well first i plan on getting all light weight gears and other tranny things, then i plan on getting a 3 speed and then the 7 inch wheels by CEN, do you think I could beat him with that setup.

no because at rc411.com they tested the SS at 38.4 mph, then they tested the Tmaxx 3.3 and that got 43 something

But your savage could get to 38 before the maxx gets to like 30, then you might win.

wow...the fear and intimidation that the trx 3.3 is already doing to the savage owners..stock ss 4.6?? the t-maxx 3.3 or revo 3.3 stock will own it hands down..in grass, asphalt, take off,top end..you better get the ol wallet out..and then when you do out run it i would,nt brag to much..a modified bigblock truck that barely out run a stock small block...lol..
