Default LRP .28 spec 3 vs. SH .28 vs. XTM .28 vs. PICCO .28

well im down to these engines. Top end isnt nearly as important to bottom end and torque. ANY IDEAS?

That LRP is supposed to be a bad mutha. For the money, I would get it. I dont think the spec 3 is quite available right yet is it?

If it is for the MGT, definetly go with the LRP. I hear the dual start will bolt up to it.

yea actually i was goin for the lrp ... i more then sure its a direct fit with no mods needed.. i think it is avaible from hobby people ... im defiantly getting it this weekend.. thank you god for my b-day moeny

does anybody have any ideas for gearing.. im all about low end accelration ... not sure about spur and clutch bell combo's

Some of the guys on some of the MGT forums were using 18 tooth clutch bell and the 54 tooth Robinson Racing spur with good results. They said they had to run the slipper really loose to keep the front end down for racing. But you don't want to run the stock slipper very loose or you'll melt it.

i run 17/49 strong bottom, and good top on my lrp z28 the engine is a beast i use it with hpi ribbed pipe on my mgt
