Default Which truck for all around?

i am just starting to get sick of my t-maxx, just need something new for the collection. so i thought why not get a new truck. i want a truck that is good for all around, doesnt break that easily, strong, and good for bashing and racing. i was looking at the hellfire truggy but heard that wasnt great for bashing. then i saw the lst and lst2 which looked great for bashing but not sure about racing. then i saw the savage and i heard that it was a beast and strong. so im not really sure what to get, i like the lst and lst2(is one better than the other and do they make a kit). but im liking all the above. so you guys tell me what you think a great all around truck would be.

Out of the trucks you listed, the LST2 would be your best bet. It's great for bashing and awesome on the track.

LST2 if anything is leaning towards the racing side. it was made for the track, and competes very well, if not dominates, the pro circuit. of course its hardly a "ringer" where anyone can win a race if they have one. but its certainly capable of winning the race.

as for LST vs LST2, LST2 is upraded in various ways and if money isnt a problem is simply the better truck. it was simply losis answer to whatever common issues there were. LST2 > LST in every concievable way except cost.

go for the Revo and drop in the Picco 26... pull the optidrive, use a reg failsafe.. and get a good pair of steering servos in it with a ppr spur and FOC. Golden.... beside, atleast a god part of our current parts will work.

A year ago I (and a lot of other people I think - based on issues with the others..) would've said Savage hands down - over the LST1 and the 2.5 Revo. Now I think - at least it sure seems that way based on what almost everybody is saying - it's LST2 hands down.

It's starting to seem like the Savage X just might be third in that group...

I absolutely love my Savage 25 though..

Savage X is the bomb. The new 4.1 hauls butt. I dropped an Axial .28 in mine and it is a monster.

there is more to a truck than straight line speed however. and its pretty difficult to improve handling, it comes down to center of gravity, weight distrobution, and stiffness. all things I believe the ageing savage has been passed by.

Id bet the good folk at HPI are working on a new generation as we type. they just did the hellfire which is obviously quite capable. the savage is an old design, you can only freshen it so many times before its time to start over.

i Admit, the revo's handles pretty good. My mgt is a monster to drive sometimes. I guess for being 1/8 scale it has good handeling, but the revo is much smaller and lighter, i am impressed with the revo.

im with badboy,
i would have gotten an LST2 if money wasn't involved. so i got the savage x. the next best thing. im loving the power of the F4.1. wheelies on command. i even did a wheelie and landed on the back after some air. i already did a backflip at my 10th tank. but stuff to watch out is the spur. know how to set the mesh right and your good. gone through half a tank and the original spur is going strong.
LOVIN' THE POWER!!
