the 30vg(p) is the bump start one. You need the os30 vg(p)sr if you want to use a roto start - this is the one I use:

Im pretty sure its a direct drop in for the Savage so Im pretty HPI backplates work

is there any just a backplate cover for a starter box system not roto start?
