On board camera
Hey guys. Can a regular digital camera be use on a rc truck. Im worried that the bouncing around would cause damage to the internals of the camera. What do you think?

you could if you get a god camera i ride bmx and quads and we do that to film i dk what kinda camera my friend has but you can make it to where it settles the picture out its a function on the camera like sport focased ones cause the internals are also shake resistant

I was able to sercure it to the body of the truck very tightly. Ive tried it once and the video came out good, but I don't think the internals are shake resistant.

That's what I'd be worried about more than anything. RC MT's are top heavy anyway and tend to flip during moderate to hard turns. Seems like adding the weight of a camera to the top would make it more prone to flipping and a rollover, even at slower speeds, might be a good vid but is probably not great for the camera. Which is why I said I wouldn't put one I cared about on the truck. If you've got an old camera or a cheap one that does not matter very much then strap it on and give it a try.
