Default whats a good way to check for bad diffs?

just wondering whats a good way to check for bad diffs in your truck?

Full throttle from a dead stop on a high traction surface...listen for a clicking noise. LOL

Or...you can just take it apart and look for any teeth that are rounded over.

lift either the rear or front wheels of the truck holding both wheels ..with 2 wheels on ground push it backwards or pull it towards u, if the wheels locks they diffs are still good if u were able to push or pull it with the wheels spinning ur diff is shot..
