Default *Project Convo- MT ADVICE*

alright well after crashing my rustler many many times into a tree going 40+, i decided to move on from my stadium truck and build it into a MT... what i am hoping on doing is converting my rustler into a monster truck... i am looking for advice and/or people who have done this... i am wanting to completely redo the suspension and such to meet the ride height of a MT.... any comments and MT advice is much needed....thanx in advance for any feedback....

Hmmm, not sure increasing the ride height and putting larger tires on it is going to automagically help it avoid trees...

( Why, yes, I am a smart-ass! )

lol....yes indeed...BUT i am now putting more power instead of top speed hence giving me more time to react to not hitting a tree... and no thats not the only reason im doing this... i want a MT but i dont want t pay 400$ for one when i can just build 1 off my rusty...

So this is nitro? 40mph . Anyway, at swamirc.com they have a conversion to 4wd info on there. But they did that with electric. Just some info.

Now that i looked at your gallery, this would not help you at all, 4wd conversion would be too hard, you should look at converting it into the stampede chassis.

you should just buy a MT...

in the end you'll spend 400$ for a half assed attempt...

sorry if its harsh, but its the truth.
