Default new engine

i have a t-maxx 2.5 but i don't have all the torque and speed i want. so i wanted to know what would be a good powerful engine for my t-maxx. btw, i want it to be a direct drop in. or if i have to mod it to fit, it would be cheap to mod it to fit. also it doesn't matter if it's a pullstart, actually i would prefer it to be a pull start.

not really, you can do a Picco 21, but you then need to go BB chassis and get the Ofna/Tmaxx 21 conversion if you have an origina 15 maxx. or ify ou have a 25 or a 33 then you need only the motor block i think. the os18TM is a direct drop in.

i've been looking at the o.s. 18 but how powerful is it. if it can wheelie from a stand still or moving then that would be the amount of power i want.

yes the os 18TM will drop right in with a 2.5 not 1.5 engine mount. has plenty of power and will ride wheelies all day if you want. just DONT RUN IT LEAN or its toast.

How about the new traxxas 3.3? Direct bolt in with more power. I think you can even get it through traxxas's engine replacement deal so it would be like half price.

The OS 18TM gets my vote. It's got great power, more than the 3.3.
