Looking for a good nitro basher/racer

is the HPI Savage 4.6 a good choice for bashing as well as upgradable with minimaul cost to race and be competitive?

I think the new Associated MGT 4.6(I say "new" cuz at least here in Germany its twin the Thunder Tiger MTA4 S28 is newish..) might fit that bill a tad better...

The Savage is definitely the king of the bashing hill, but I think making it truly race-worthy takes more than just a couple of minor upgrades...

I agree 100%

I have a Revo for MT racing. I bash it too, but when I want to go hardcore with bashing, I whip out the Savage.
