Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a Monster truck... I owned a Nitro buggy, but I found that a buggy just isn't my style...

Could anyone tell me which one is the better one...

Any information which helps me to decide is welcome...

I don't know about Holland, but here in Germany Traxxas stuff is kind of hard to come by. HPI stuff though is everywhere.. I would advise a Savage anyway though.. 'Course, depends what you want to do with it. The T-MAXX is probably faster, but it'll fall apart a lot sooner from what I hear. I have a Savage 25 - and will always be a Savage guy now after seeing what they can take.. Savages are a hell of lot of fun - cuz they're tough as hell and stay in one piece.. Never owned a Traxxas, but have heard enough bad things to make me wary..

Thanx Patrick for you reply... I want a strong Monster Truck... Like to drive through rough terrain... Forrest and dunes I really like that...

Then a Savage is precisely what you're after. If you get one, look in the HPI forum for the thread about what to do before you start it up - some good pointers..(for small things like putting zip-ties around the bumper-posts, etc...) Have fun..

ithink the savage is a great truck. I dont own either of the two, but three of my friends have t-maxx's and they seem very durable. I think the t-maxx is cool because it is smaller, yes i said cooler because it is smaller. I have a mgt, it is awesome, but sometimes i wish i had a smaller truck to mess around with. They are lighter and quicker. I used to hate t-maxx, but now i see all the positives, but no matter what, you will like them both.
