I would still say the LST.
http://slapmafro.com/
got there, and scroll down till you see "RC X Games"
Click that, and watch. In part of it, there is a pulling competition, and the two LST's in the video do the best out of all the trucks.
And look what Sublime Jason posted. That's a hopped up LST, and it has the record of 94 pounds

Yeah but did you see the t-maxx in the spud run! Thats got power!
Oh and I think that it kinda obvious that the nemesis would win any day over the lst.

for pulling weight, I would say CEN Nemesis or genesis... That .46 has a whole lot more torque than the Mach 427.
If you are talking stock trucks for pulling, you may as well pull Tmax and warhead and revo and MGT off the list.

Yep.
Here's what you should do: Take the .46 motor from the CEN, and put it in the LST.
Then put it in low gear, and gear the pinion and spur gear for as much torque as possible
I doubt a Genesis would outpull you

So, why don't you just buy a CEN and gear it lower by changing pinions.......
That way, you have a drivetrain that is designed to take the torque, and you have a 4 shoe clutch already on there. Just change it out to an alum clutch and you are good to pull.
Not that I'm bashing LSTs cuz they are good trucks, but you seem to admit that the CEN dngine is better, but you have a curious need to use and LST.

No, I am saying that because you seem to want the CEN engine so badly. It isn't anything special, and A Novarossi is far superior to it, and the Mach 427 is good to

My Genesis would definately tug my Lst all over the place...... nothing against the Lst. The genny has superior torque and weight.

RE: Tug "O" War Battle of the Beasts!
And why is it? BECAUSE OF THE ENGINE!
The weight isn't much of a factor, and if the Genesis was really so good at pulling, Jason would have one, and it would have the record pull
Let's see, I put the genesis engine in a LST, and I'll out pull you with the LST

RE: Tug "O" War Battle of the Beasts!
CEN Nemesis will win without a doubt... anyone in a normal mind can tell if not even a challenge. if you look at all the tug war magazines has been doing, none of them actually have nemesis in it. then if LST win 1 category, Savage will win another. THey will always be even in the end.
LST , T-maxx and savage is clearly no match for nemesis and that will piss of magazine's largest advertiser, traxxas HPI and Horizon, therefore, there will never be a tug-o-war between CEN NEmesis/Genesis against anything else. its gay but thats how tha it works...

IVE DONE A TUG OF WAR AGAINST A SAVAGE X WITH A SPEC 3 vs my nemesis with a spec 2 and i drug hip like 6 feet before his rear diff blew up. i new i would win mainly do to size and weight of my truck even though my truck is much lighter than a regular nemesis.
