That didn't look anywhere near 60 mph, looked more like around 40.

I was about to say the same thing. From what I saw in those vids, that thing was nowhere near 60+ MPH.

Haha! I just got my January 2007 issue of RCDriver. Tamiya has an add on page 217 of the TNX 5.2R stating 40+ mph. I wonder what happened to 60+ mph?

Hello. I am having a little problem with my Tamiya Terra Crusher. It ran well and good (it has been used well for like 1 year). Suddenly today, i could not work the engine. iT WOULD START BUT KEEP STALLING AND CHANGING SPEEDS. But when i went to accelerate the car, the engine would go to stop and the car would move a bit then stop and switch off. The only thing that has changed is that i can no longer have the plug cable attached and it keeps coming off all the time. Anyone know how to help me please???

Can somebody please post some closeup pics of this truck. I have a TNX pro and was interested in getting this new TNX if it does indeed hit 60MPH. Pics and comments on its performance if possible!!!
Was the 60+ MPH SPEED LIMIT too good to be true?

That's it? That's your first post? With no reason or explanation? The Savage is a better basher, but the TNX 5.2R is more race oriented. It's more powerful/torquer/faster and better handling. Less parts support compared to the Savage. Depends what you want in a truck I guess. But I wouldn't say the Savage is 10 times better. 10 times more parts availability maybe.

hey yesterday i was playing with my tamiya tnx 5.2r and i was feeling it was losing power. Half way through the tank i was slamming throttle but the car wouldnt move. i looked at my spur gear, it was moving together with the clutch bell but the slipper clutch wasnt moving together. So i opened my car and found the rubber pad of the slipper clutch wore out.

wat might of been the cause????

Just tighten up your slipper clutch so it isn't always slipping.
