I have a pretty stock emaxx and I have been thinking about building some kind of project. I've tried to look around the galleries and on the forums but all i see is trucks with a bunch of shiny aluminum part and rock crawers, and thats not really what I was going for. So if anyone could mabye tell me some of the things they have done to there emaxxes it would be alot of help.

How about making it fast? Use the HV-Maxx brushless. You'll need to upgrade the diffs, trans, center drives and CVD's. That should keep you busy (and poor) for a while.

that would be fun but i dont have alot of money to spend so brushless is way out of the question.

like what do i want to do with it are u racing it like a thrasher or are u just keeping it nice more for just playen around

well i'm not racing it, and i'm not wanting to keep it "nice" but i dont want to totally destroy it either

I was going to recommend a 6x6 conversion, but that definitely doesn't qualify as a low cost project.
You could do a full waterproofing of it. Put some floats and propeller on it and make it amphibious too.

Waterproofing would be a fun challenge. Cheap too...unless you don't do it right.

i've already considered waterproofing but i'm still a little uneasy about getting my electronics messed up, especially that evx since it cost so much money.
