Well if it is shifting.. you will definitely hear it!
The engine sorta pauses for a fraction of a second and then it will continue at a slightly flatter tone..

Also if you want to hold your vehicle in your hand and accelerate it.. you will definitely feel and hear it shift..

I agree with Ram. You can't miss it. If you are stuck in first the engine will not spool up to full RPM. The gearing is just a bit too low. My set screw keeps wandering, I think. Because for a while I was stuck in second the whole time. If you are stuck in second then you will not hear the tranny shifting and the engine will spool all the way up.

LSN and Midrange are still factory setting.

when it is running, yellow oil covers the chasiss plate under the

pipe. it is spitting oil

I noticed that my truck does that too. This truck runs naturally rich. About the shifting, you can definitely feel it too. The truck will jerk in your hands when it shifts.

landshark
you might want to try leaning out the high speed needle a bit. that way it will have enough power to actually shift once the engine hits high enough rpm's.

Remember that each car is unique
The needle settings depend on a LOT of things

!) Temperature
2) Humidity
3) Altitude
4) Air filter condition
5) Your running style

Dont copy another person's settings and assume that its ok..
Most of the time it wont fit your car!!
A temp probe is an excellent investment if you want to tune your engine well

i had to turn my adjuster screw 2 full turns out from factory to get it to shift...very noticable, although you need to make sure you are tuned in good.as long as you can get a smooth , quick start out of the whole, clears out on top end, and don't get too hot, ur needle setting should be fine.trail of smoke clearly visible.

Landshark,
In your opinion, Do you think that the truck has anought rpm's to shift. Because it might be too rich. I know everyone has told you that the richness has a lot to do with it. I can't stess enough how much the RPS's depend on the richness settings. You are right, thats what the adjustment screw is for.
