Default racing: savage vs. revo

don't say a word![>:]yet
I run an hpi savage with an axial .28 engine and I beat revos
my savage has been clocked at 56mph and his revo 3.3 has been clocked at 46mph. Im not say the people on this forum are wrong but they say a revos beat savage with top speed anyday.
my savage also takes off faster then a revo 3.3
maybe i'm a better drive then him but i beat him in races.
what do you guy think?
another thing is my savage is so durable I hit parked cars at 40mph and jump 20ft in the are and it doesn't even hiccup
can a revo do that?

Hmmm...a modified Savage against a stock Revo. Sounds fair.

I dont think ANY truck is gonna hold up to very many 40mph hits on parked cars.

56mph? Don't make me laugh. The record is 64, and a Axial motor isn't all that powerful. I'd believe 50mph with the Savage, 3-speed, a Novarossi 528XR, and some lightning mods, but other than that, no!

Yeah.... That's the ticket! Just ask my wife. See, I was working for the CIA with my wife, Morgan Fairchild.. whom I've slept with. And we were spies. Yeah! She was on the cover, and I was under-.. water! Yeah, that's it! I was disguised as a fish in the Hudson River! Yeah! And I was about to bite into a worm when I was caught. Yeah! And they sold me to the Russian Tea Room, where I was filleted and eaten. And the next thing you know, I was.. I was back in the Hudson!

The swim suit models who live next door to me came out while I was washing my racer LST and they said it went 72mph. They said they were hot so I hosed them down (I did not use Simple Green on them) and we watched ESPN for a while Later they helped me confiure a 8ight clutch on my Muggy and we all laughed and stuff. I told them I thought Tony Parker shoud get some dribble penetration and then take it to the rack. They said they knew Eva and woud talk to her about it.

for top speed. I cheated
I gear up, leaned it out alot and. . .
do you own an axial?
that things a power house.
I don't have a radar gun so you can give or take a couple mph because of my bad stop-watch skills.
I think a stock savage x ss will beat a revo in top speed because of shear power.

and theres no question that the savage is more durable and heavier that a revo so you can crush him into a wall before the first turn!!!

Zach, a stock Savage will never beat a stock revo. We are talking 6+ mph of difference in speed here, and if you geared a revo up, it would kill a savage all the more.

That might happen once, but twice would get you a quick ass-beating here in TX.

LOL Zach Brehner there is no way in HE[[ that a stock savage could beat a stock revo! Thats like saying I could blow up the moon by trying to throw a rock at it! And how are we suppose to believe you? U got a vid or pics of you savage? I want to see a vid of it either dragginh with a revo or it just dragging alone. If you could show me that I would possibly beleive you.[8D]

heres a scenario a great driver, the best in the world driving a savage 21 vs. an idiot with a revo 3.3 the savage world win
I'm not the greatest driver in the world and the people I race with are not idiots but if I'm a better driver then them I have a shot.
and then sometimes a revo won't cut it. like when the straight away is so rough that it trips a revo and the savage has the clerance to make it.(that's what my track is like after the baja 5bs hit it) and when the jumps are tall and it's weird when savages cartwheel they come back up right better than revos(must have to do with height)
p.s don't get pist at me cause I believe in my savage

It's not that anyone is getting pissed because you believe in the Savage, those are just some hefty claims. I could believe the beating a Revo thing. I run mine around alot of Revos and shaking them off usually isn't such a hard thing to do, but it's not happening with a stock Savage.

In straight line drag races my Savage LE outran several Revo 2.5s, so there are out of the box Savages that are just as fast as the Revos. And before you go spouting off about that weak little 3.3, don't forget the Savage X SS and the older SS 4.6s either. Those things are pretty quick for stock MTs. Not that it really means alot, just pointing out that the differences aren't that great in this regard.

my savage is not completely stock. it's got a futaba 3pm-fm
http://www.rcuniverse.com/product_gu...smitter_id=143
and an axial .28, and all the goodie that came with the ss
those dirt bonz are cool
and it has loose shocks so it rides low.
and i tryed zip-tieing the it down.

Hey kid. I think you are missing the point of what everyone is telling you. No one has accused your truck of being stock. No one has said that you couldn't beat a savage.

When you make a claim that your savy will do 56 mph at any web forum on the net. People are going to think you are full of crap. In this particular case. I think you are mislead on how fast your truck is going. That is beside the point though.

You CANNOT compare a STOCK vehicle to a HOPPED UP vehicle. It would be like me going out and putting a 350 in an orginal volkwagon beetle, putting racing slicks, and a wheelie bar on the back. Then going and racing people in corvettes. Then me saying. I don't understand why people like corvettes so much. My beetle whips them all the time.

No one is putting you down. They are just trying to point out the misconceptions that you are showing all of us. Age has nothing to do with any arguments on here. It is one level of maturity.
