Broken Savage
I know your feeling. I broke mine today front dog bone and rear caster support. Not sure how the dogbone broke however I thinkt he caster support broke when I was powerslidng then the sidewall of the tire caught and it fliped about 3 times.
Good thing I needed to go to the LHS tomarrow anyway to get more fuel. already burned up 1Gal and having fun.

I have just broken the upright of my savage
landshark HPI has a recall on that part for the savage
http://www.hpiracing.com/kits/savage21/savage21-u.htm
you can send in your old ones and get a set of new for free (even the broken one)
they recomend buying a full set then sending in the new ones... that way you can still run the truck and when you get them back you have spares...
they also said that of all the parts of the truck, this was the most likley to break so having 4 spares is a good adea.

I have just broken the upright of my savage
So far I have broken:
5 dog bones, 2 uprights, and a gear inside the steering servo.
totaling: just over $100 to repair broken parts...
and I haven't even jumped it more that 2 - 2.5 feet high. Not to mention... I think that I may need some new wheels soon, because my hex nut is starting to make its way around the inside of the wheel... once it's circle, that's it, time for new wheels.... I love driving it... I HATE how much it cost to drive it...
For the first time today, i thought about putting it for sale... then I decided to just take a break from it and come back tomorrow.
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
