Default MRC Nitro Thunder King

I have one of these from almost 10 years ago and was curious if any parts are still available? Does anyone have one? I visited MRC's website and didn't find any parts there at all... which doesn't seem like a good sign.

there is a guy on here "The Boss" ... he has either access to parts or sells them. He was the only person I found with them when I had one.

That is the spot they shear off if the front suspension hits anything hard, I am guessing you did not have a hinge pin support on?, one can be made out of just about any thick gauge sheet/stainless. This kit came out 15 years ago and MRC has been sold out of these kits many years ago now, you must call them for parts, just make sure you have the part numbers before you do. I have seen guys cut the pin ears off on the stock bulks and use a 1/4" thick alumium bar/plate mounted using the 4 bumper holes and then drilled for the hinge pins to slide through (I will try to find some pics). Here is one of my kits with the hinge pin support which for the most part stops the front bulk ears from shearing.

Yes, some parts are still avalible, not bad for a 15 year old kit. I posted the factory part/price sheets in the "gallery/info" thread, make sure you have the part numbers ready before you phone. E bay or old hobby store stock from hobby stores that sold these kits at one time or another like from sheldon hobbys is another option, you just have to phone around.

Here is an old link that should still work I just found of one of my NTK's at our local club park tracks.

Thanks for all your help! I called and ordered the part I need! Now to see if I can get the engine to run... the fuel tank has a purple sludge in it. ew.
