Default A cancer warning on a radio box! ***?! Please read!

This is the wierdest thing..
I was packing this Futaba radio to send it off.. and I stumble on this fine-print

" WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm"

Whats the deal with that?! Dont believe me?! Look at the pic!!
It makes no sense! Why would a damn radio cause cancer?

And I dont think the AM/FM transmissions are to blame. The label clearly states that its the "chemicals"..

Default Ah Yes...

As you can see what we have become. I believe this is a requirement since the radio is also sold in California. just about anything nowadays is thought to cause cancer. That is so later, you can tell a trial lawyer that your exposure to your transmitter casued your lung cancer, and your lawsuit will be justified, because it says so on the transmitter.

The real truth is, that if you feed 4 of those radios to a spotted mouse, it has a 30% chance of developing cancer of the stomach, go figure.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Worry will kill you alot quicker than playing with an R/C transmitter. And that is my professional opinion at no charge.

The lead silver solder used to solder components on the circuit board is probably the "cancer causing" substance in the radio.

Hey Ram....here's another warning "for your health safety"

"DO NOT HOLD RADIO NEXT TO YOUR HEAD WHILE OPERATING"

You never know....you might re-program your brain cells if you hold it that close!
