NEWBIE Servo Installation Help
I hate to put ANOTHER thread up but did not find anything by doing a search on the forum....
BUT
I just bought the HITECH CS-70MG. My problem is that the WHITE "Servo Saver" (if thats what it is called) is bad. I was going to use the one that came with the new servo but am very confussed about ALL the parts? Originally, I just put the new server in and use the same white piece that fits on top of the servo.
But I think it is stripped out because ever time I turn the wheels to the right.... it does not come all the way back to the left.

you mean that white round piece that comes with hitec servo?
it is not a servo saver.
use the original servo saver, but you do need to change
the piece that attach to the servo.
see your savage manual page 38, on the top of the page,
there is the whole servo saver. in the table, it lists "which
piece for which servo" . you can find the piece in the spare parts
that came with your truck.
you dont need to buy a new servo saver for your new hitec servo.
i bought one, then i returned it

Thanks to all...
I must have been up past my bedtime because I just went outside on "Brake" and realized it what I was doing wrong. I think it is good now.

Yup. Now I can't wait for work to be over.... if it wasn't for me already having lunch plans... I would be out in a lot somewhere testing it out.
Guess I'll have to wait till 5
