Mini Failsafe problems
I bought a mini failsafe, and set it up as the box said(set amount of brake to be applied when unit goes into failsafe).....but even with full batteries-if I turn full left or right-the car brakes and returns to idle-in some cases stalls.
The operating voltage is 4.8-6.0V......does the servo 'Drag' the voltage down when at full 'tilt'-or under load-thus kicking it into failsafe mode?.All help will be appreciated.

RE: Mini Failsafe problems
Fisrt question, Are you running alkaline batteries or NiCd/ NiMH. If your running alkaline, The failsafe will not work properly because of the discharge chariteristics of alkaline batteries in general. You didn't say what kind of vehicle you are running. So I can't suggest a reciever pack for you to use. But if you look on tower or some other on-line hobby store, I'm sure you will find what you need, 1100-2000 maH.- 5 cell- 6 volt 2/3a pack, in a configuration to fit inside your battery box.

RE: Mini Failsafe problems
Hi there,
I'm using alkaline batteries-pack of 4 ,and I'm running a smartech magic wheel(.15 nitro motor-15cxp?).....with it's own make radio/reciever equipment.
I thought I'd try removing the failsafe-but don't want to lose control to be honest-runs faster than I could!.....so you can buy nicad packs to fit the reciever box?-Thanx for your help.
