high capacity savage 71.25 minutes of run time
so heres my logic
I will buy a [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD722&P=7]600cc tank[/link] and mount it on the frount bumper with zip-ties and the bumper will hold it up.
600cc of fuel divided by 160cc i have know =3.75 3.75 times the 15min im getting know=56.25+the current tank = 71.25minutes of run-time.
good idea, bad idea?

I only get about 8-10 min of run time on my tank, never 15. Still, I think you will have a huge risk with it on a bumper and the engine will need time to cool down.

I voted- bad idea.. I think it's good to give these motors a break. I could be wrong though, there are some long A-mains out there, not quite that long though...

bad idea.
think of how much weight you ill be adding to the front of your truck
it only takes a couple seconds to refill your tank
you dont need 750 cc of fuel

I will run it rich when i run for that long, the only reason Im doing this is when I go out into the woods and I dont want to have to carry a fuel bottle

Get some of [link=http://www.amazon.com/Men%2592s-Mossimo-Basic-Cargo-Shorts/dp/B0006TZHG2/ref=pd_sbs_a_2_img/103-7352786-4830208]these[/link], the pockets on the sides come in real handy for stuff like that.. sucks when you gotta' run to flip the truck back over though, with all that weight floppin' around

I'd think that would be hard to mount and keep from moving because even if you zip-tie it on it will not have any support on the bottom

Bad idea. Added weight and one nice crash and the tank is toast not to mention flying off....most store bought zip ties snap easily. Seriously, it's not THAT hard to carry a couple pounds of fuel around.

you do realize that the tank is going to be as big as the inside chassi of the truck right? i just added a 8 oz dubro for the savage as a test and it just fit on the tank side, i cant imagine something 2 and a half times bigger than that.
