As far as I know there are no aftermarket companys that make those in alumunim.

Yep unfortunately that is correct. I haven't seen any aftermarket skids yet. I just ordered 4 pair of course the only one that breaks is the front. I have 4 back pieces!!! Don't even need em.

I haven't broke one yet but, I use a starter box and the fly wheel hole is about twice as big as it used to be.

Yea...its one big hole, at least it don't rub the starter wheel know more.
