TNX 3.0...opinion after 3 months bashing!
Just wanted to share with you my thoughts on my TNX 3.0 after 3 months of desert bashing. I live in Dubai so I basically do all my bashing on sand dunes etc, great fun - the sand gets everywhere though, but I bought an air filter pre-filter which helps keep that part much cleaner. Normally the sand would stick to the oily foam, now there is a fine mesh bag around it which allows the sand to fall off but still let the engine breathe easily....
Anyway, once I broke it in and finally came to a good tuning point it's been simply fantastic. Not one thing gone wrong, nothing broken (apart from a quickly deteriorating body after the 'learning process' when jumping - you get some big air off the dunes!! It's fast, easy to maintain, and just keeps going without any problems....my first nitro truck so it's safe to say I've been impressed.
If the TNX 5.2r is as good (sure it is and more) then it has to be highly recommended!

Sounds like a lot of fun. Sand can be a blast to run in. Keep an eye on your bearings, mainly the rear diff pinion bearings. That seems to be the 1st to go. At least it was on a Terra Crusher I had and my TNX.

Yeah I bet that sand does get everywhere, keep clean and it will last a long time.
The TNX is such a great truck it rarely gives me a hard time! Heres mine with the 5.2 body.

I was thinkin the same thing. It looks like either the wheels are too far apart or the body is too small, but the wheels look small too.

Never seen panther komodo dragon MT tires mounted on proline velocity standard MT rims before?
I also run crimefighters standard and 40 series with proline rims. These work pretty good on a certain track I race.
