Default MGT wont shift gears

I was out bashing earlier today and I noticed when I took it on this big parking lot for some fast driving that it wasn't shifting in to 2nd gear. Anyone know what might be causing this? I already tried the shift screw and changing it had no effect.

maybe the shifting hub arm has got a bur on it causing it to stick to the hub, or u stripped the 2nd speed gear

The shifter hub may have come loose on the shaft - red threadlock or using two grub screws instead of one will solve that problem. If that's not it then something in the transmission may be damaged or binding.

Gorgot check that your brakes aren't too tight,There is a lot of if's so you have to check them one by one.

Are you sure you got the right screw? Theres 2 screws in there that you can access thru the adjustment hole in the tranny, you need the to turn the black screw which is hard to see which is which. I had this same problem when I first got my MGT.

Yeah, I saw that there was 2 screws. I was turning the one thats at an angle with the spring and small ball bearing. I checked and there was no stripping and I found no burrs i will have to check my rpms then when I can drive it next which will prolly be tomorrow after school.
