personally, i say "savage". it is my first, and only rc.

i play with my friend ryan who owns a t-maxx.

PERSONALLY, i feel my truck is better than his (everybody says this)

His t-maxx is faster than my savage.

savage------ 15 pounds with a 1.7 hp engine, top speed 32

t-maxx------ 9 pounds with a 1.3 engine. top speed 40

both are good and cool truck.

the new design of savage chassis make the savage belance

better than t-maxx. i heard this from a pro at LHS " savage

beats t-maxx on track"

if you just wanna play around in park, buy a savage or t-maxx.

for something more, savage.

if you just wanna something powerful, and insanely fast, try

Thunder Tiger ek4 s2 v2. it has raw power. perfect for running

straight or big circle. on track, it will roll like a ball.

all above are personal ideas and thought, no offense to all t-maxx

and savage , or some other trucks owners.

i have a terra crusher got it 3 or 4 weeks ago and i never had problems no broken parts yet ...highest jump is a loading dock and it landed great ..and the others are just regular ramps..if you like faster trucks for racing get either tmaxx or savage or bigger like ofna titan..they all are good trucks its your taste that would decide ..me i enjoy my truck even all i see in these website is all savage &tmaxx ..almost a gallon run and hopefully therell be no problems or broken parts in the next months or gallons

oh, savage has bigger block engine

savage climbs better than t-maxx.

the top speed depends on the top rpm of the engine.

i will use a rope to tie up the tails of my savage and Ryan's

T-maxx, and see which can pull over which.

I have been browsing this forum for about 3 months now, decided to join finally! I have the savage and the x-factor and i happy with both of them! The savage is a great handling truck out of the box, the only problems i have had are the occasional upright and dogbone breaking, also my rear wheels are starting to strip out, contacted hpi and they are going to replace them for me! Great customer service! The x-factor is much more fun than my savage though! I dont expect to take it out to the track, but for bashing it is way more fun! The .247 has unbelievable torque and is extremely quick! And it handles pretty good for solid axles! The articulation is incredible, especially when you remove the sway bars. And side by side the x-factor dwarfs my savage. In the next few months i plan on making it 4 wheel steering too. All in all they are 2 different trucks, one is a truck that you can take to the track to race, the other you take to the hills and construction sites to bash with. Just make sure your lhs has the parts support for which ever truck you decide on. BTW, check out the txt by tamiya for rock crawling!

the fact is, savage is a newer truck, but it is getting more popular.

sooner or later, people will agree that savage is better than

t-maxx over all
