I am about 2 weeks away from making a purchase of an RTR monster truck. I want a truck that won't break the bank (under $400), but will be easily modified/upgraded with better parts/tune ups/etc.

Trucks I've considered:

- Traxxas Nitro Stampede
- XTM Mammoth ST (truggy)
- Warhead EVO (if I can find under $400)

I want to know what everyone thinks...if you were me, what would you buy? Doesn't have to be in the list I made above...

I say look on e-bay and try to get yourself a deal. i just picked up a LST2 for $365.00. Also just sold my Savage SS 4.6 for 400.00

How upgradeable is the Stampede?

u can get a brand new Team associated Monster GT for about 360 shipped to you, thats under 400 and money to spend on fuel and some spare parts if u like

i dont know about the stampede very good but you can do tons of mods to the mgt
