Currently I have a J.R XR3i radio. I was looking for a new radio and on tower hobbies they have the futaba 3pk on easypay and was thinking of getting it since I didnt have to cough up all the cash right away. I like it cuz I can always upgrade to spektrum and its a 20 model memory radio and can be upgraded to 30

Great radio. More options, bells and whistles than a Rolls Royce. I don't use the FASST module because I use this transmitter for my boats as well so I can't comment on it.

I Don't have the 3PK but I do have the JR XS3 synthesized radio and its very good. Synthesized radio is definatley the way forward.
Futaba usually make quality radio gear as well so I dont think you'll go far wrong. Just have a look at the XS3 first and see if you really need to spend the difference

Just to let ya know I will soon be selling my hpi rs4 evo with my jr xr3i radio as soon as I get a new radio
