fuel
I just ran out of my odonnel racing fuel and i need some advice. i was told you should stick with the same fuel you broke the engine with. well the only problem is that the only place to get is an hour a way. my lhs just carrys traxxas topfuel. will it be okay to use that if it got the same oil content. or should i just go with odonell

RE: fuel
when I had the same concern the guy at the hobby shop told me that you will have to retune the engine, and make sure it has the right oil % and stuff.

RE: fuel
I was told the same thing to stick with the same fuel and not to change fuels. Well I was sceptical and decided to run a couple different fuels in my old 4-tec, So far the engine is still running no problems. Other than having to tune it for the fuel that i am running i'm not seeing anyproblems, So far i have run in order byron race 20%, o'donnell, 20%, sidewinder 20%, blue thunder 20%, and the last tank i ran was sidewinder 30%. I ran a couple of tanks each and the engine is still running. So i say fuel is fuel, as long as you know how to tune and break in properly

I notice your in Merced, are you talking about D's music? I know if he carries Traxxas, which by the way is made by PowerMaster, its good. Thats what I keep going back too bacause my temps stay down it its powerfull. youll like to 20% and it tunes easy.
