Installed OFNA clutch shoes on MGT. WOW!
OFNA racing shoes 1.8g
A very inexpensive and simple hop-up part that makes so much of a difference.
After installing these shoes, the throttle response is amazing. I really thought there would be a little lag as the gold 1.1 springs held the shoes back but when I hit the throttle there was instantaneous response and it actually spun all 4 tires on the pavement.
Stock motor, stock gears, FOC, Infinate wheelies on demand now!
Im satisfied with this upgrade and would recommend them to any MGT owner.

Let us know how they hold out for ya. I was thinking about getting some aluminum shoes, but I figured it might be harder on the drivetrain.

I'm running the same set, they are great so far - part #10011.... there's also a silver set, which are 1.7, they are a little more expensive but the are harder aluminum and should last longer - part #10010

No problem..
comerford... I have the Werks but it's been sitting in my parts bin since the 1st week I got it - the adjusting nut would constantly tighten up on it's own, eventually keeping it from engaging.. It was killer while it was set right.... Some guys have good luck with it, I didn't..

your right, they are definately harder on the drivetrain. Since they let the engine rev a little higher before engaging, its like dumping the clutch in a car. If I keep everything tight in the drivetrain, it should last.

can you run a centax type clutch in the mt? I was reading about the centax clutch and it was saying about how well you can adjust them for fast or slow engaugement.
