tbj the only thing that is wrong with this engine is the carb , it has a air leak at every orifice. the only thing that is still good in mine is the piston and sleave and the connecting rod and the drive shaft. and even after i thought i got all the leaks out it ran great but when i pulled it in the temps were over 400 deg and thats when the head started leaking. but even after that ordeal the piston does not go past half way past the sleave and i have over 2 gallons through it. the only other ebgine that is tuned the same way is the cen n76, you tune the low and then you lean the high but the temps are kept down with the low. trust me i can tune an engine i think i was delt a bad engine from the start. i am going to rebuild it but not at the moment i have my buds trucks that need to be broken in now.

I purchsed the STS .28 roto start engine for a Tamiya TNX 5.2. Can anyone tell me what roto starter will fit? Will the stock roto starter fit? Thank you.

i don't know how the stock Tamiya starter is configured, but I use an HPI rotostarter for mine.
