I think I am one of the few who use red alert. I have had engines last to 6 and a half gallons on it. Only one didnt make it through 4 but thats cause we wanted to kill it lol.

Once again, not the most gain in horsepower but will make your engine last for a long time and easy to tune.
Traxxas fuel 20% Nitro.

Sidewinder 20%nitro 12%oil, I have a picco 27 that lasted over 7 gallons and still has allot ok kick left in it. Easy to find, great results no matter the engine, i want to try the 30% blend now since this one is so good.

i use a blend my hobby shop makes, 20% with 14% oil, it's hard to find the popular brands here in Australia because it's difficult and expensive to get it shipped here, i'v been looking at this massive mods h3 444 though, it's 25% nitro and 12% oil.

One more vote for Red Alert. It runs nice and cool in my O.S. Cv-rx and dtx .18s, and my engines last forever! Also, I get tons of power from it. I have heard, however, that traxxas engines dont like it b/c they like to run hotter.
Try it, you'll probably like it!

I prefer O'Donnell 30% race. The RTR formulation sucks big time, but the race blend is good stuff.
I also like Maxy's 30% race blend. It's about $5 cheaper than the O'Donnells, but it has always been consistant from jug to jug and I like that it only has 10% oil content.

2D - what %oil is in that Sidewinder?? I have %25 and totally love it, but lots of people seem to say that with %14 it's got too much oil.. All I can say is my trucks run great - so far.. Big Sidewinder fan..

LRP, because it is one of the only fuels available in Germany. Truck runs incredibly well compared to another brand of fuel I tried before...

I would have to say, speaking from running the following fuels that they do well, Trinity Monster Horsepower 20% and Byron's 20%. I'm still trying to run out my quart of Byron's so that I can give Odonell's 20% a try because I heard it does pretty well and it's cheap over here.

On Tower they list the Sidewinder Worlds 30% as having 11% oil and Odonnells Race 30% as having 18% lubrication. I've found that sometimes the quality of the oils used is more important than the percentage. Odonnell's 30% run fine at 18% oil.

I don't think O'donnell fuel actually has 18% oil content. Their sales pitch is "O'Donnel Racing fuel contains an advanced lubricant package which provides engine protection equivalent to that of conventional fuels that have an 18% lubricant content".
I think the actual oil content is 12%... but don't quote me on that, I can't find anything online that supports it.
